Welcome to Holler Back Farm

This is a video of some of our baby goats, the smaller one is Little Dipper and the 2 bigger ones are Umber and Archer.

Enjoy!

On Becoming Homesteaders:  Most people would say that being of the "older" persuasion would be a time to slow down, take it easy, rest more or at least travel...so we listened to their advice and voila we did the complete opposite and decided to buy property, start buying goats (originally intended they would be our lawn mowers and blackberry removal equipment), then came the garden (please note we have not grown anything more than a packet of flowers, they died), a pig (our herd Sow, hopefully we'll find the proper boar for her), then of course came in natural sequence CHICKENS and so here we are, 2 overgrown kids, learning as they go along to take care of our share of the earth, laughing at the antics of our animals and enjoying watching our granddaughters run wild on the property.  This year they will be participating in 4-H.

So enjoy our website, get to know us, follow our adventures and if you're interested to purchase and of our our goats, chickens, eggs or veggies just give a holler @ 360-508-4452 or hollerbackfarm@gmail.com, and we'll make sure to give you a holler back!

Moving to the Oakville area has been such a blessing for our family, especially the property we live on, we're the proud caretakers of 19 1/2 acres and on this acreage we are planning to raise Boer Goats, Heritage breed pigs (American Guinea Hog and Tamworths), Chickens & Eggs, and Vegetables all grown in a natural "organic" state, (and all with the encouragement and guidance from my good friend) at "A Blackberry Creek Heritage Farm" and I would recommend her farm for anything that I don't have they probably do have. Our family seeks to live our lives in accordance to gaining self-sufficiency, in an economically sound lifestyle, providing quality food and animals, raising our crops, animals and family in a safe environment without worrying about what is in the food we eat or what we provide to our customers.
If you have any questions, comments,  or suggestions, please feel free to contact me and I'll be sure to "Holler-Back" as soon as I get a chance, for now, please visit our website, check out our pictures, see what we have to offer and come back often as things change all the time.
